What time will we leave Melbourne?
We typically depart Melbourne between 9 and 10 AM, depending on your hotel location and package. Yarra Valley is approximately 1 hour from Melbourne. We’ll confirm your exact pickup time 1–2 days before your tour.
How many wineries can I visit?
Typically we allow between 3 and 4 wineries to allow for a more relaxed day, this is not a drinking marathon but an experience of the best of the valley.
How many passengers can travel?
7This is a fully private tour; only your group travels together. Our spacious Mercedes vehicles comfortably accommodate groups up to 7,11,14 or 22 guests, plus your dedicated guide and driver. There’s no mixing with strangers just your family, friends, or colleagues, with plenty of room to stretch out and relax.
Can we customise the itinerary?
Yes. This is a fully private Yarra Valley tour, so the itinerary can be tailored to your interests. Choose your preferred wineries or include other attractions such as Four Pillars Gin Distillery, the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie or Healesville Sanctuary. We can also recommend the best itinerary based on your wine preferences and desired pace. Winery availability and tasting reservations are subject to confirmation
Can you provide child seats?
Yes we can provide Australian-standard child seats and boosters at no extra cost. Just let us know ages and sizes when booking so we have everything ready and safely installed before pickup. We want all passengers big and small to travel comfortably and securely.
Are lunch and tastings included?
Lunch is not included in the tour price, giving you the flexibility to choose where and what you would like to eat. We can recommend and reserve a winery restaurant, casual café or local dining venue to suit your preferences and budget. Any food and drinks are payable directly to the venue. We can, however, create a package tour with our negotiated rates
Where do you pick us up?
We provide complimentary pickup and drop-off at your Melbourne hotel or private address.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Yarra Valley tours operate in most weather conditions, as wine tastings and dining are generally indoors. If severe weather makes travel unsafe, we will contact you to discuss alternative arrangements, rescheduling or a refund where applicable.
